An extensive online disruption has disrupted numerous sites and mobile apps globally, as users experiencing issues accessing the internet following issues at the web hosting system.

The affected services comprise Snapchat, the gaming platform Roblox, Signal, and the language learning app Duolingo, along with multiple Amazon-managed operations like its primary shopping platform and the Ring security doorbell company.

In the UK, Lloyds bank was impacted as well as its branches the bank Halifax and Bank of Scotland, while there were also reports of difficulties accessing the HM Revenue and Customs site on that morning. Also in the UK, several Ring users used social media to report their doorbells were not working.
